Celebrities are known for doing over-the-top stuff but renting one hospital wing for $1.3 million and spending $200,000 for additional private guards the way Beyonc? and Jay-Z did for the birth of their baby was a bit too much! Other patients at the Lennox Hill Hospital in New York thought so too!

There are new reports that new parents who were at the hospital on Saturday have aired their annoyance over the special treatment that the hospital staff gave to the Carters. It would have been fine but some patients had some unpleasant encounter with some of the power couple?s security.

Edgar Ramirez, 25, whose wife has just given birth over the weekend said that the guards kept him out of the neonatal unit for three hours, preventing him from seeing them!

Another patient named Rozz Nash-Coulzon, who gave birth to twins, said that some time on Saturday a guard told her that the sixth floor was on lockdown and that if she went out of the neonatal unit she won?t be allowed to go back in! She described the whole incident as ?disgusting.? According to TMZ some of the patients who were affected are thinking of filing a lawsuit against the hospital!

Beyonc? and hubby Jay-Z reportedly named their little princess Blue Ivy Carter! You know that?s one of the most unique celebrity baby names I?ve come across! Hmm Mommy Beyonc? and Daddy Jay-Z really know how to pick ?em!

It?s real because even Rihanna sent her well wishes to the new parents through Twitter. She said, ?Welcome to the world princess carter! Love Aunty Rih.? Russell Simmons and Gwyneth Paltrow also sent their congratulations through Twitter.

The new parents ensured everything is in order for their little one?s arrival and that no even one paparazzo would be able to steal a snap! The couple reportedly rented out the whole hospital wing where the baby was born for $1.3 million! Aside from that they also spent $200,000 for additional private guards! Wow! I know these power couple has a lot of money so they can afford all of it but don?t you think all these is a little bit too much?

Anyhow, congratulations to Beyonc? and Jay-Z! They must be over the moon with joy!
